This sassy, sexy and gorgeous singer, pianist, violinist and actress, is a vivacious Virgo with a warm, friendly smile, and a personality that lights up a room. Her middle name is “Joy” and it is an apt description for Bianca’s happy, passionate and outgoing nature.
She is an accomplished musician who completed her schooling at The National School of the Arts, where she studied both classical and contemporary music. As a young girl, Bianca did ballet, modern and Spanish dancing. After matric, Bianca toured the country as well as Namibia and Botswana, doing salvation work for the needy.
Bianca’s music career was formed around a lifelong focus on entertainment, including long-term and dedicated training. But it was boosted to the big time by the mixed blessings of reality TV when she appeared on the talent search, Idols (SA).
She successfully released her first album in 2003 followed by the second one in Afrikaans, titled Dis My Somer in 2005. Five years later she produced and released her third album, Met My Hele Hart En Siel which was released in September 2010. In 2012 her fourth album, Net Jy/Just You came to light
She now runs her own business, has her own entertainment company called BESUPREME MUSIC, appears frequently in popular musical theatre productions, guest presents on television and actively supports young talent with her social responsibility projects. In addition to committed training and mass media exposure, Bianca’s trick to making it as a musician extends to versatility. She applies her acting, singing and song writing skills to a variety of lucrative roles – corporate gigs, session recording, musical and television appearances.
She has a long list of international appearances and has shared the stage with Usher, P Diddy, Alicia Keys, Beyonce and appeared as a special guest on the Jerry Springer Saturday Night Live Show at Caesar’s Palace. She has featured on many local television shows as well and portrayed the lead roles in the pantomimes, Cinderella and Snow White at the Civic Theatre. One of her highlights is her performance with Sealaelo Sealota at The Eldos Jazz Festival that boasted an audience of 25 000 people.
The powerful singer with the big heart is also an ambassador for the Vulindlel’ eJozi Programme for the City of Joburg andwrote and staged a show, Bianca and the Swing Sisters at the Mardi Gras Theatre to raise funds for the Miriam Makeba Home for Girls.
She married the hunky and very humble David Johnson from the local soapy, Getroud Met Rugby in 2016 and they are currently working on an Afrikaans album which will be released in 2020.
